Welcome to Therapy Link ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by Therapy Link Ltd., a company registered in Ghana. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our platform. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms, including all schedules and policies referenced herein.

All interactions on the platform are confidential and protected by our Privacy Policy, in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

What this means for you: Your personal information, session details, and communications with therapists are kept private and secure. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access or disclosure.

Clients must:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and at all times thereafter.

  This includes your personal details, contact information, and any relevant health information requested during the intake process.

• Maintain the confidentiality of their account credentials and promptly notify us of any unauthorized use.

  You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Do not share your login information with others.

• Engage respectfully and honestly with therapists on the platform.

  Therapy is most effective when there is open and honest communication between client and therapist.

• Attend scheduled sessions on time or provide notice of cancellation according to our policies.

By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to the Non-Disclosure Agreement set forth in Section A. You acknowledge that session details, therapist information, and platform data are confidential and must not be disclosed without explicit written consent unless required by law.

Clients agree:

• Not to arrange or attempt to arrange therapy sessions with any therapist outside the Therapy Link platform.

  This includes contacting therapists through personal email, phone, or social media to arrange sessions that bypass our platform.

• This obligation shall continue for a period of two (2) years following the last interaction between the client and the therapist through the platform.

• All payments must be made through the platform using approved payment methods.

  We currently accept credit/debit cards, mobile money, and bank transfers.

• Clients are responsible for all fees associated with their sessions.

  Session fees are clearly displayed before booking and will be charged at the time of scheduling.

• Refunds and payment discrepancy resolutions are subject to the policies detailed in Section B.

• Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session.

  Cancellations can be made through your client dashboard or by contacting our support team.

• Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a charge for the full session fee.

  This policy helps ensure therapists' time is respected and compensated appropriately.

• Emergency cancellations will be reviewed individually, and documentation may be required, as outlined in Section C.

  We understand that genuine emergencies happen and will work with you in these situations.

• Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through amicable mediation under the laws of Ghana.

  We encourage open communication to resolve issues before formal dispute processes.

• If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the Ghana Arbitration Centre, with the seat of arbitration in Accra, Ghana.
• The language of arbitration shall be English.

Clients must use the platform in a responsible and lawful manner. Prohibited behaviors are outlined in Section D. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Therapy Link's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for services rendered through the platform in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
• Therapy Link shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

  This includes but is not limited to loss of profits, data, or use.

By checking the box below and proceeding with registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, including the NDA.

What this means for you: As a therapist, you are required to maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information. Our platform is designed to help you maintain these professional standards with secure communication channels and data protection measures.

Therapists must adhere to the highest professional standards, including but not limited to:

• Standards set by their respective licensing bodies.

  This includes maintaining current licensure and following all ethical guidelines of your profession.

• Ethical guidelines applicable to their profession.

  Including client confidentiality, appropriate boundaries, and evidence-based practices.

• Additional professional standards as required by Therapy Link.

  These may include platform-specific protocols for session management, documentation, and client communication.

Therapists must maintain updated licensing and certification information throughout their use of the platform.

By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to the Non-Disclosure Agreement set forth in Section A. All information shared through Therapy Link must remain confidential, and therapists must not disclose client information, session details, or platform data without explicit written consent unless legally required.

Exceptions to confidentiality include situations where:

• There is risk of harm to the client or others
• Abuse or neglect of a child, elderly person, or vulnerable adult is disclosed
• A court order requires disclosure
• The client provides written consent for information sharing

Therapists agree:

• Not to solicit or engage in any direct or indirect arrangements with clients introduced via Therapy Link outside of the platform.

  This includes providing personal contact information or suggesting alternative meeting arrangements outside our platform.

• This obligation remains in effect for two (2) years following the last interaction with the client via the platform.

• Therapists will be compensated for completed sessions through the Therapy Link platform.

  Payment is based on the session duration and your established rate.

• Payouts are processed every two (2) weeks to the bank account provided during onboarding.

  Payment processing typically takes 2-3 business days after the payout is initiated.

• Therapy Link retains a service fee of [insert service fee] % per session.
• Payments are made in Ghanaian Cedi (GHS), unless otherwise agreed.
• Payment discrepancies must be reported within fourteen (14) days of the payout date, as detailed in Section B.

• Therapists must provide at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session.

  Cancellations can be made through your therapist dashboard.

• Cancellations made within 24 hours without a valid reason may result in a warning or penalty.

  This helps maintain a reliable service for our clients.

• Repeated late cancellations (three (3) or more within thirty (30) days) may lead to suspension from the platform.
• Emergency cancellations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and supporting documentation may be requested, as outlined in Section C.

• Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall first be resolved through amicable mediation under the laws of Ghana.
